I See What You're Saying!

Linda @ 2nd Cup of Coffee is hosting a carnival so that we can all kind of virtually meet each other. Please join in if you have time today. You can click on the icon above to go read all about it.

Personally, I debated back and forth on whether or not to do this. For some crazy reason, I decided to do it. I'm still not quite sure why.

OK... disclaimers:

* It was really late Monday evening when I recorded. So, please for give the hair, no make-up, etc. Just look at it this way, you're getting the "real" me.

* Everything that I said sounded way more interesting in my head. It really did. So I apologize for the content.

So, now, without further ado,

Take 3...

... aaaaannd....

.... ACTION!

I was all ready to watch the "real you" and it says that the video is "no longer available". Was the real you just a little too "real", after all? :o)

Pardon our technical difficulties. We will return soon.

We resume this regularly scheduled program.

I have absolutely NO idea what I'm doing with Youtube.

None.

Zilch.

Nada.

It WORKS! And I LOVE the real you! But, GIRL, that is some STINKIN' bad ol' poison ivy! The devil is in that horrible plant!

I'll be praying tomorrow about your airplane friend - ain't God SOMEthing?

Hugs,
Melinda

Oh my gosh, you really did get into some poison ivy :( We have it around our property and we have to be very careful. Hope you feel better soon and can get those legs shaved :) This was fun and it was nice to meet you.

You seem very comfortable in front of the camera. That's some of the worst poison ivy I've seen!

Hey! nice to meet you! I guess I am one of the few lucky individuals that doesn't get a reaction to poison ivy! After seeing yours, I am very glad indeed!

Donna! I already feel like I know you, but WOW! Now, I REALLY feel like it even more! You're so pretty! Anyway, thanks for sharing your tips.

You had me LOL at the cereal. When you began talking about chocolate and then held up the cereal, the first thought I had was, "That's not chocolate!" hehe!!!!

Your purse is cute and that poison ivy looks absolutely painful! That you "sort of" shaved had me cracking up! (I think that's from a post somewhere else.) Now I see why!

Sara and anyone else -

I too was once one of the lucky ones who did not react to P.I. Our bodies, change, my friends... our bodies change.

Oh honey I feel for you with all that poison ivy. That is no fun. On the other hand, that purse is fabulous. If it doesn't work out between the two of you then you can just send it over my way!

I'm so glad that I got to "meet" you!

Oh my, just lookin' at your legs makes me itchy! And do I see it on your arms too? Pobrecita! ("poor little thing" in Spanish)
I am totally with you on the chocolate. I have tried substitutes and just end up eatin' that AND the chocolate anyway. So why not just start with the real thing?!

I LOVE this!!!

Your poison ivy...OH MY STARS! You poor girl!

I feel like I just had a little chat with you and I loved every minute of it.

So sorry that I somehow missed your tweets about YouTube. :( These video uploads are NUTS I tell ya!! I'm glad you got it working though. I, for whatever reason, can't even get mine off of my camera, let alone deal with YouTube.

Okay, so the lessons I've learned....real chocolate, pants, and pray. Oh yeah, and a little saucy red purse thrown in for good measure!

Got it! :-) Great post!

I am still getting around to all the videos from Tuesday's "I See What You're Saying". Working kept interrupting my blogging schedule.
And I didn't view in numerical order. Now what does that say about me?! It's nice to meet you!

Deven said...

I'm still working my way around too. Great video, and I loved the purse.

Donna! It is so great to get to see you in real life, (sort of anyway!) I absoloutely LOVE your southern accent!!!! I was LOL off and on through the entire video, in stitches. I noticed the rash on your arm at first, then you showed the legs, you poor thing! Hair on the legs is the worst, I agree! And about the chocolate - truer words were never spoken. Real women head straight for the real deal honey!! I'm going to be PF your friend, such a cool story.
